Hello, watchers! i wanted to post the new scaling techniqes i've come up with for my guns, as i've only just now decided to measure the darn things and come up with a reasonable toolkit. The use of these tools are as follows;
-Color setup with shaders
the top group is for coloring windows and for aesthetic coloring, such as stripes or rank colors. the middle group is for coloring weapons that are in desert or Olive Drab schemes, this group took me a bit to get right. the bottom group is for the coloring of basic gunmetal components.
-4 foot ruler
you get the idea, it's a four foot ruler based around my scale of 8.75 pixels an inch.
this was fun to make, this here took me a good twenty minutes to make. The semi-circle has a radius of four inches, so it can be used to make an average-sized front of a grip. The orange is basic lines, the red determines 45 degree angles for the angled lines, the blue determines the size of the trigger guard and thumb-hole areas of the grip, and the green determines the top of the grip, as well as the innermost portion of the arc for the thumb-hole.
Copy and paste 'em end-to-end, come up with your own ends to the segments
I hop you guys like this
P.S.: Please tell me what to edit/add, because this is just the Ver. 1
