Imperial Armories I/A-50

The newest Service Rifle of the Carnaithian empire, the first production model of the I/A-50 is already holding up to be a well-liked weapons platform... with it's own issues, being the first model. 

For the basics, the standard assault rifle model of the I/A-50 has a 24" barrel that, while thin, is capable of withstanding temperatures brought up as a result of a trigger-happy soldier. The weapon fires at a full-auto rate of 900 RPM, and that jumps up to 1800 in two-shot burst mode. Heat is kept down in full-auto by a set of locks keeping the weapon from firing more than ten rounds from the 100-round tandem magazine at a time, and then keeping it from firing for a sixth of a second. The weapon has an effective firing range of 650 meters in full-auto(850 in two-shot burst), and a maximum firing range of 1200 meters. Accuracy at longer ranges is achieved via the integrated scope, which uses a laser behind the periscope lens to measure the distance to the target, then placing a dot on the effective firing point, which, depending on if the soldier is linked to other weather-monitoring gear, will edit itself further. The scope is equipped with zoom capability from 2x to 5x zoom. The weapon is further equipped with a sloped-forward downwards ejection port, integrated flashlight, and a cleaning rod. it is fully ambidextrous. 

Complaints consist of the distance between toggles, and weight, which leans towards the front of the weapon, though some say this assists with recoil management.
